Finally heard a GT350 in person for the first time.

I took my Focus in for service, and arrived just in time to see this GT350 (marked up $10k LOL) exit dealer prep and be pulled into the showroom. Somebody gave it a couple of revs while it was in the service bay.

I love it.

$10,000 above MSRP, that’s all? I’ve seen a lot higher on that car, though it could be because it wasn’t the R model. I wish Ford made enough of them to meet demand.

Last Christmas I had to go over to our Ford store for a company picture, and made the mistake of walking behind the GT350 they had in the showroom, just as they were about to start it up and move it.

Poo came out.

True, I’m pretty sure that I saw this dealer put a much higher markup on a Trinity-powered GT500 a few years ago.

Doesn’t sound like too much of a markup when you consider that almost all of them will be destroyed as they leave the dealership lot in a cloud of tire smoke and flying pedestrians. Dat rarity factor.

I heard one a few days ago myself and it was glorious.

Yeah, but it’s a hot car. There are some rumors that it’ll continue post-refresh with an optional DCT, but we won’t know until it’s announced.
